True Value of Food

The Rockefeller Foundation and McKinsey & Company have collaborated a true-cost accounting study to analyze the Value-for-Money of improving the existing school feeding programs around the world. This pilot phase focused on understanding the ‘true value’ of replacing unfortified refined grains with fortified whole grains (FWG), which has been identified as a high impact intervention with proven success in Rwanda.
